About me
I thought it was about time to let you know a bit more about me. I've been a crafter for as long as I can remember doing
knitting, crochet, tapestry, long stitch, cross stitch and now papercrafts. I love to scrapbook and make cards. I enjoy trying new techniques and watching
demos on tv then trying to create a similar effect from what I have in my stash - which won't necessarily be what they used!! Until just over 3 years ago,
I used to regularly teach workshops and do demonstration days for a couple of craft shops near where I then lived. That came to a grinding halt when a back
problem that I've had since my late teens worsened to the point that I could no longer stand or sit long enough to take them. I used to love doing them and
do miss the company of other crafters but that has been alleviated by finding this Forum. Thanks to the encouragement of some of the friends I met on here I
started my own blog - Spirit
of Creativity and a Tutorial and Tips blog too!
I was lucky enough to find love again in middle age and Tom & I married in february 2007. We are both Registered Spiritual Healers and care passionately about helping others with what we do.
